1. Morton Church Announcements for July due by June 20 

We are working on a monthly newsletter with detailed information and a more streamlined weekly announcement.  • If you have an announcement that would have typically gone in this section of the weekly announcements, we are  now asking that you send those announcements to Whittney Huette by the 20th of each month. Please be patient with us as we work through the change. 

2. Instruments of Worship Weekend – September 26-27 

If you play an orchestra or band instrument, have experience playing in a group and desire to make music together,  please sign up to participate.

3. Elder Conference Satellite Location – Goodfield, IL – August 8 

The ACCA conferences national planning committee has decided to host a central Illinois satellite location in Goodfield. Those Illinois brothers, sisters, and converts who are not able to attend the live event in Ellington,  Connecticut are invited and encouraged to attend the live-stream of the conference in Goodfield. A registration link will be emailed out on June 24. Attendance will be limited to 300 people. Sign-up will be on a first come, first serve basis. 

4. July 5-August 9 – New Children’s Choir on Sunday mornings 

Sunday School students going into 1st-8th grade are encouraged to participate and will be led by Sis Larissa Steffen. It will take place during morning church between the end and start of Sunday school years.  The goal is to create a culture of singing and worship and introduce the students to music or enhance their  knowledge. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sis. Brooke Kaiser. Please be prayerful for this new  endeavor and for Sis. Larissa Steffen. 

5. Gateway Woods Auction 

Online auction will open at 8 AM on Wednesday, July 29th - In person auction will be Saturday, August 1st. Please turn any donations in to Bro. Nathaniel and Sis. Tressa Leman by Sunday, July 12th. If you have a vacation home, please consider donating a couple night’s stay. This is a big-ticket item for the auction  and they are asking for your generosity in this area. Tools, electronics, children’s items, recreation items (camping equipment, bicycles, volleyball and baseball  equipment etc.) go very well. Collectibles (figurines, plate collections, etc.) are difficult to sell and discouraged. 

6. Visiting Opportunities – May/June – TWO SPOTS AVAILABLE

7. Silver Lining Topic Authors Needed 

The Silver Lining invites your contribution toward a September 2026 reader-submitting issue: Spiritual Lessons  from Seasoned Brethren: Relate How Experienced Believers’ Examples Have Enhanced Your Focus on Biblical Living  in the Spirit “Philippians 3:17”.  Length of text should be 600 words or less. Deadline is July 15. Email your contribution to features@acsilverlining.org 

8. August 15-16 – Sister Heart 2026 in Canaan, Ohio
