2. March 6-8 – Mid-Year Elder Conference in Elgin, IL
Please be prayerful for our Elder Bro Ted Witzig Jr as he goes to the Mid-Year Elder Conference. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and direct the Elder Body as they deliberate on and discuss various national church matters that come before them. Your Prayers Are Important!
3. Wednesday, March 13 – Family Worship Night - Faith in the Fire – 7pm at Fellowship Hall
Come be encouraged by life experiences shared by one of our Morton couples. Note the date change: March Family Worship will be held the 2nd Wednesday on March 13th.
4. Saturday, March 16 – Invite a Friend Potluck and Singing at Fellowship Hall
The Invite-a-friend dinner begins at 5:30pm and the singing at 7pm. To increase fellowship time, we would like to try something new. We will have a potluck style dinner with a light snack of bars and cookies after the singing. Please bring a main dish and a side dish, enough for you and your guests. Table service and drinks will be provided. A signup sheet is at the information center if you are planning to attend, as well as a signup to bring cookies or bars. Please contact Sis Larissa Steffen if you have any questions.
5. Saturday, March 16 - Make-Up Communion in Tremont
If you are unable to attend the Morton communion, Elder Bro. James Fehr of the Tremont church invites you to partake of communion in Tremont at 7:00pm (singing at 6:45pm).
6. Sunday, March 17 pm service – Communion Exhortation – all are welcome.
We are looking forward to taking communion together on Saturday, April 13. Singing starts at 7:00pm; Pulpit time 7:15pm; Bro. Harvey Kaeb from Gridley plans to be with us. Communion in Homes - Any Morton member needing communion served to them in their home, please contact Bros. Ted Jr, Jeff, or Fred.
7. Sunday, March 24 – Sunday School Easter Program - "What Wondrous Love."
Sunday School students should be in their rooms at 11:45 am. Singing begins at 12 pm and the program at 12:15 pm. Please plan to join us and hear the students tell of the wondrous love of Jesus!
8. Sunday, March 31 - Easter Morning Service and Brunch
Easter Morning Service at 8:00 am with brunch immediately following. Brunch sign-up for you and/or guests will be on the kitchen sign up table. Second Church Service Starts 10:10 am. Congregational singing with Sunday School up front 10:10 am. Sunday School and church service following at 10:30 am. Please Sign-Up to Help. 9. Saturday, April 20 – 2024 Vision for Discipleship Conference in Tremont, IL
God calls us to a life of discipleship, a personal walk with him where we bring all our life into alignment with the way of Christ and encourage others to do the same. 10. Saturday, April 27 – Health Care Fellowship Conference 8 am to 5 pm at Gridley
For all AC Health Care Providers and their spouses/support people. Anyone working in the health care fields including administrators, mental health, dental, eye care, EMT’s. 11. Sunday, April 28 – Communion at Restmor at 2 pm – Limited
Due to capacity restrictions this service will not be open as a general “make-up” date. • Immediate family members of Restmor residents will be able to attend to support their resident. We will also try to accommodate other seniors that are not able to attend Communion at church. Contact Jeremiah Psinas at Restmor so they can plan accordingly.
